Éric Tarantola is a French street-performer and multi-instrumentalist behind the solo project “L’Orchestre Imaginaire.” Trained in guitar and trombone at conservatories, he began combining his musical skills with theater and loop technology in 2009 . Using homemade instruments—like a sauce‑pan drum kit, patched trombone, “Clock Thumb Piano,” and his hybrid “Guitanjo”—he layers rhythms and melodies live with a loop station, creating a whimsical “imaginary orchestra” that blurs circus, dance, street theatre, and music . Touring internationally, he has performed in over 20 countries, collaborating across disciplines with circus artists, dancers, comedians, and visual artists.
